Kevin A. Nickel

Kevin joined FDAR in 2026 after working as an associate attorney at an employment litigation firm. He earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2025, where he served on the Ohio State Law Journal and participated in the Mediation Clinic and the Entrepreneurial Business Law Clinic. He passed the Ohio Bar Exam that same year. Kevin’s passion for litigation took hold during his third year of law school when he took Judge Edmund Sargus’s trial advocacy course.

Kevin grew up in North Canton, Ohio, and attended The Ohio State University, where he majored in finance and minored in political science. As an undergraduate, he interned for a Fortune 500 company in Hong Kong and worked as a legislative analyst at the Ohio Statehouse, where he became convinced that he wanted to become a lawyer. In his free time, Kevin enjoys golfing, exercising, traveling, and rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
