Melanie Williamson, Benjamin Albrecht and Grant Bacon will team up to present at this year’s OPAA (Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association) Virtual 2020 Meeting.  On December 10th, Melanie will present “Jail & Road Patrol: Considerations & Liability in a COVID-19 World.”  The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the lability inherent in road patrol and jail work related to COVID-19 and the spotlight placed on the use of force in 2020.

On December 11th, Grant will present “Navigating Bumpy Roads on the Way to Easy Street,”  providing an overview and refresher on county obligations to maintain county roadways and the duties of county officials.  Ben will conclude the day with “Dewey” Understand Library Requirements?”  This will address legal challenges faced by libraries.
