Benjamin Albrecht is looking to presenting  at this year’s OPAA Summer Workshop at the Hotel Breakers in Cedar Point!  The Workshop runs for two days, June 23rd – 24th and offers both a criminal track and a civil law track.  The criminal side will have presentations on working with victims; litigation skills; cell phone evidence; and 4ht amendment suppression issues.  On the civil side we will explore the Inflation Reduction Act, construction procurement; public records; FMLA/FSLA; and actions of public and off-duty conduct of employees. On June 24, Ben will offer his expertise in the civil law track as he presents “Avoiding the Department of Labor’s ‘Mean Streak:’ Minimizing the Risk of FMLA and FLSA Violations” from 10:15 AM – 11: 15 AM, followed by “Understanding Permissible Responses to the Actions of the Public and Off-Duty Conduct of Employees” from 11:15 AM – Noon.  For more information on this year’s workshop, click here!
