Benjamin Albrecht is excited to return to the OPAA Summer Workshop at the Hotel Breakers in Cedar Point!  The 2-day Workshop spans June 21st – 22nd and offers both a criminal track and a civil law track.  The criminal side will have presentations on juror misconduct or tampering; an overview of the Organized Crime Investigations Commission; forensic anthropology; and a sexual assault protocol update and House Bill 33.  On the civil side , presenters will address social media and the First Amendment; what to expect for the November election and how the Secretary of State can help with issues; how recreational marijuana will affect public employers; and problems and responses for public employers and First Amendment auditors, discipline, off-duty misconduct, and more!  On June 22, Ben will offer his expertise in the civil law track as he presents “The Twists, Turns, Screams and Thrills Awaiting Around Every Corner of Public Employment” from 10:15 AM – 12:00 PM.  For more information on this year’s workshop, click here!
