Helen began her career with Fishel Downey as a law clerk in 2019 and has continued on as an Associate Attorney after passing the Ohio State Bar in 2021. Helen regularly represents public and private employers in labor and employment disputes and provides creative solutions to employment issues. She also successfully defends public entities and officials in state and federal lawsuits across Ohio.

On the Personal Side

While originally from Alexandria, Virginia, Helen has come to love her new home in central Ohio. Helen is an avid visitor of local parks, restaurants, and businesses.

Helen regularly contributes articles to various publications including Ohio Township Association Magazine, the Ohio Municipal League, and the firm’s website. Helen is also a published legal scholar and received the Best Brief award in the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Regional Competition. During her undergraduate studies she gave numerous presentations on data visualization tools to professionals across the globe.
